This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| Anyone at the gig when he recorded bits of the 'We Want Moore' live double album. I
dragged along a mate who was moer of a Cure and Siouxsie fan than a rock fan, but he
came out raving about how good the gig was. Second front row of the stalls and a
brilliant night, only spoiled by being put in shadow a few times by Neil Carter's
nose.....

| I saw Gary a few times, always excellent.
I'll tell you what though, When BBM
came to town he was defintiely overawed by the presence of Jack Bruce and Ginger
Baker.
They were obviously his heroes while he was growing up, but it was
strange to see such a name/god/hero as GM to be so in awe of anyone. It was very
obvious too!!

| I was also there and remember how well Gary played and sounded.
For the life of me I still cannot understand why everyone raves about That numpty of
a drummer
