And then he walked along the edge of the Circle

This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!

New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

Comments on Blue [reply]

Met the guys several times in their home town, Glasgow, while I was doing the Friday Rock page for the Delly Reccard back in the mid/late 70s ... long before superstar rock writers and part-time stallholders in the Barras! Decent bunch o' lads.  They were signed to Elton John's Rocket Records at the time and were well into their music but a few years ago, I wondered if they'd been reincarnated as a boy band?!!! Surely they didnae sell oot their name tae them?  I mean, that lot could have used the title of a Miles Davis album instead -- Almost Blue!   At least their credibility wid still be intact!  Hope their a' keepin' well and livin' comfortably oan the royalties frae the hit single!
Awrabrest, Gordon Paterson.
