This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| I wonder if anyone who was at the Ian Dury and the Blockheads gig (31.07.79) can
remember that the support band was an odd assortment from the USA called Root Boy
Slim and the Sex-Change Band. Just thought I’d mention it since they seem to have
been largely forgotten.

| Got seats on the last row of the top balcony. Couldn't see much and got told off by
the arsehole bouncers for standing on the seats. Ian did a great live version of
'Wake Up And Make Love To Me' , the late Charlie Charles layng down a great drumbeat.
